Challenge Poverty Week is an opportunity for you to raise your voice against poverty and show what needs to be done to tackle poverty across Scotland.

Challenge Poverty Week 2019

Challenge Poverty Week, coordinated by The Poverty Alliance, takes place 7-12 October 2019.

In a just and compassionate society, it’s simply not right that so many people are trapped in the grip of poverty. Poverty puts people in impossible situations, like having to choose between heating their home or paying their rent.

The key message of the week is -

'Challenge Poverty? Aye we can!'

Aims of the week
