NHS Lothian

If you require a BSL interpreter at your vaccination appointment, you should use contactScotland to phone the NHS Lothian Interpreting Service on 0131 536 2020 (Option 5, option 1).

This service is available Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 8.00pm and Saturday and Sunday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.

If you require a deaf-blind guide, please contact Deafblind Scotland.

Telephone interpreting for other languages will be available when you arrive at your appointment (via Big Word). There is no need to arrange this prior to your appointment.

NHS Tayside

Language Line Insight app is available at all vaccination clinics for spoken language interpretation. NearMe video interpreting can also be used.

BSL interpreters are available between 9.00am and 5.00pm at Caird Hall and Dewars Centre. They can be requested outwith these times and at other sites if required.
