Vaccine drop-in clinics

You can attend drop-in clinics if you would like to get your first, second or booster dose of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine. For example you:

  • only recently become a resident in Scotland
  • didn't attend when invited earlier this year but would now like to get vaccinated
  • had your first dose and did not attend for your second dose (for example you may have moved address, moved countries or recently had coronavirus)

If you're eligible for a third primary dose, you will have received an invitation or have been asked to register with your local health board. If you have received the first two primary doses but not yet come forward for the third, you can attend a drop in if available in your area or book a third dose appointment online or by phoning the vaccination helpline on 0800 030 8013.

If you want to be vaccinated as soon as possible

As well as drop-in clinics, your local health board may offer other open access services such as mobile vaccination clinics. You can find more information about drop-in clinics and other open access services on your local NHS health board website:

Please direct any questions or feedback about drop-in clinics to NHS health boards through their websites.

If you want to plan ahead

You can arrange an appointment a few weeks in advance by contacting the national vaccination helpline on 0800 030 8013. If you are a new resident in Scotland, you can register online.
