The BHF has various resources for resources for children and young people, including meet@teenheart - a great place for 13- to 19-year-olds with congenital heart disease to meet others like them.
If a loved one has a heart condition, they may need extra care. They may feel like they’re a burden. Relying on other people can feel hard to accept.
Caring for someone can be physically and emotionally difficult. As a carer, you need to look after yourself too.
