Infants under the age of 12 months who require a hospital ED assessment should attend Royal Hospital for Children.

Children age 1 to < 16 years – with illness that require an ED referral, should attend Royal Hospital for Children ED.

Children age 1 to < 16 years - with injury that require an ED referral, should attend their local ED - GRI/RAH/IRH.
