Aberdeen City Libraries Service

The library service provides free access to a wide range of books, e-resources, learning, wifi and pcs, educational toys and games. For a small charge you can access printing, photocopying, faxing services and hire DVDs.

Membership of libraries is free from birth onwards, apply online or in person at your local library. Proof of identity is required.
In line with the current Scottish Government's Coronavirus (COVID-19) Strategic Framework Update, Aberdeen City Libraries have reopened the following libraries for limited browsing and borrowing, and computer access:

Central Library, Airyhall Library, Bridge of Don Library, Cornhill Library, Cove Library, Culter Library, Cults Library, Dyce Library, Kincorth Library, Mastrick Library, Tillydrone Library and Woodside Library.

Aberdeen City Libraries have also opened the following libraries for limited Click & Collect appointments:

Bucksburn Library, Ferryhill Library and Torry Library.
