NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Quit Your Way Community Services (West Dunbartonshire)

Click To Be Contacted

During the current Covid-19 pandemic our face to face community stop smoking services have been temporarily suspended and we are currently providing telephone based support. If you live in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area and would like support to stop smoking please contact us on 0800 916 8858 and we can arrange for one of our advisors to contact you.

Alternatively you can contact your local stop smoking service via email (see below) or use the click to be contacted button and a member of the team will contact you.
Quit Your Way Community Services deliver free intensive support in a range of forms to assist smokers to quit. The main support is in the form of stop smoking drop-ins which are run regularly in local venues by trained advisors. One-to-one support is available, with telephone support, for those who are housebound. Further details are available by contacting the number below or visiting the website.

Trained advisors will give you a warm welcome, and meet with you on a weekly basis. They will discuss products which can help you quit - Nicotine Replacement Therapy, Champix and if appropriate give you a form to take to your GP or pharmacist requesting the product of your choice (Champix may be dependent upon a medical assessment by your GP). Behavioural support is also available for those using electronic cigarettes or vapes.

All sessions are relaxed, informal and friendly and the support and encouragement that you will means that you are much more likely to be successful than going it alone.
