Aberdeen Linking Lives Befriending Service

Aberdeen Linking Lives is a befriending service aimed at older people who find themselves isolated or lonely and require some extra friendship and support. We match volunteers with older people who would like to see a friendly volunteer visitor on a regular basis for around one hour.

Our core approach involves linking volunteers (who are fully vetted and interviewed) with older people requesting regular home visits.

Our aim is to significantly improve the quality of life for as many isolated people as we can by developing new schemes year on year.
