Supporting people and their families affected by cancer in Wigtownshire

Care Boxes

Our carefully curated boxes are designed to provide comfort, alleviate stress and provide practical resources to those facing the challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis. Choose from 4 different boxes.

Respite

A cancer diagnosis affects the entire family, and we believe that everyone impacted by cancer should have the opportunity to have a healing, therapeutic break.

Befriending

Befriending can provide a supportive network that empowers people to cope with their diagnosis, make informed decisions, and find strength in shared experiences, fostering a more positive and hopeful outlook on their cancer journey.

Pamper Sessions

A pamper session provides relaxation, stress relief, emotional support, and a positive boost. It can help alleviate treatment-related discomfort, enhance well-being, and offer a much-needed break from the challenges of cancer.

Mindfulness

A mindfulness course can help cancer patients by reducing stress, managing emotions, alleviating pain, improving sleep, enhancing coping skills, and fostering a positive outlook. It also offers a sense of community, supports cognitive function, and helps people adapt to changes in their lives.
