NHS Fife Quit Your Way: Maternity Service is available for appointments in various locations across Fife.

If you are pregnant and live or work in Fife, support is available to help you to stop smoking, please contact us on 0800 025 3000 and we will arrange for one of our specialist advisors to contact you. Alternatively, you can contact us via email on:, or click on the click to be contacted button above and a member of our team will contact you.

At your first appointment with your midwife, they will ask you if you are smoking. All pregnant women who are smoking will be referred to us at the Quit Your Way: Maternity Stop Smoking Service.

You will then receive a call from one of our friendly specialist advisors and they will let you know about our service: We aim to agree a plan to support you that meets your needs and current situation.

If you would like to stop smoking, we offer one to one, face to face appointments to suit you: We aim to agree a support plan that meets your individual needs.

Quit Your Way programme is weekly for approximately 12 weeks, we know people may not be able to attend each session so your advisor will work with you and offer support by telephone if needed.

If you would like to bring someone with you to your appointments, please feel free to do so.
